Mongolian Marketing Research Association (MMRA), which has purpose to develop marketing research and introduce and advertise standard ethics, organize seminar & exhibition and give consultancy, implement program and project, was established in 15th of October 2013 by initiation of MMCG LLC (please visit to www.mmra.mn for more information). MMRA joined to the Asia Pacific Research Committee (APRC, please visit to http://aprc-research.com/ for more information) with purpose of keep abreast with international marketing research standard, specially Asia Pacific countries development and exchange experiences, learn and advertise international method standard and ethics etc. as an official member.
6th APRC Conference held in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur form 13 October to 14 October, 2014. Ch.Davaasuren, Chairman of MMRA and Research and Development Director of MMCG Company, B.Khangal and Sumiya, Research Managers of MMCG Company participated to the conference.
Conference was conducted through following agenda:
– APRC Annual Summit Meeting: Delegates of 11 professional associations of 10 countries participated to the meeting and discussed about activities implemented by the committee and associations and further plan for them. Delegates considered on following matters: networking between members of associations, promoting their activities among all members of associations, providing discounts on training and workshops organized by associations to members, sharing experiences on challenges faced and connecting with European and American associations through Global Research Business Network (GRBN).
– Half day workshop on “The Art of Bonsai Survey Design: How to design shorter, more engaging surveys for a more mobile enabled world”: John Puleston, Vice President of GMI & Lightspeed Research Group (Kantar Group) conducted this workshop. In recent years trends of mobile survey is increasing and design and methodologies were introduced in this workshop.
– Full day conference on “Engaging Consumers in Multi-Platform Environment”: Use of digital means, such as smart phone and tablet increases beside traditional media. Many interesting presentations introduced in the conference, such as how to research this multi-screen use behavior and how engaging consumers in multi-platform environment for brand development based on the survey result. Delegates of world market research leading companies AC Neilsen, TNS, Millward Brown and IPSOS and delegates of client companies Singtel, Coca Cola and Twitter participated to the conference and gave the speech.
Next year 7th APRC Conference will be held in Auckland city of New Zealand on 8 and 9 September 2015. MMRA invites all organizations and individuals who work for Mongolian marketing research development to become our member and work with us.
